The security deposit signifies an agreement that all house rules will be followed. Deposit will be returned within two weeks of checkout. Guests who do not follow the house rules forfeit their security deposit. 
 
House Rules: 
-No more than 5 overnight guests, one of which must be at least 25 years of age. 
-Two vehicle maximum. Please be considerate of the neighbors and drive 15 mph on Thomas Road. Only park on paved areas (not on grass or flagstone walkway). 
-Guests traveling with their canine family members should agree to abide by the Schoolhouse Dog Policy. 
-Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property, including outside. 
-Only toilet paper in the toilets. 
-The propane tank that fuels the fire bowl in the backyard MUST be turned off when not in use. 
-Hunting, fireworks, sound amplifiers, and parties of any kind are not allowed. 
-ONLY place 13 gallon (or larger) trash bags in the outside bin. NO loose items or small bags. Our garbage man retrieves the bags by hand and will only take full-size trash bags. 
-Exterior security cameras are in place for the safety of guests, the property, and as documentation that the cottage is within the county’s legal occupancy limit. Tampering with the security camera is grounds for immediate, nonrefundable termination of stay.

The door code is the last four digits of your phone number. To lock the deadbolt simply press the lock symbol. The code will only operate the deadbolt. If you lock the doorknob you must have the physical key to unlock it from the outside.

Please be aware that the home is not baby/toddler proofed. 

There is a drip coffee maker, french press, and coffee, creamer, and sugar. 

There are three porches: a small front porch, a large back porch that is a spectacular place to hang out, and a smaller screened porch that is off the master bedroom. 

The Schoolhouse is very dog friendly. You are welcome to bring your well behaved canine family members.

I'm an outdoor enthusiast, explorer, mom, dog lover, and a wife. I only own one vacation rental property and I have my little cottage because I adore it and want to share it with others. Making my guests happy makes me happy.
